Verdict

Queen Aya made her handicap debut in a higher grade than this at Newbury and wasn’t beaten that far in fourth with SWINLEY a length further behind. But the latter is fitted with blinkers today and may well find the improvement necessary to reverse running with Ryan Moore’s presence another positive. Queenoftheclyde is upped in class after winning at Wolverhampton while Seraphinite was narrowly beaten at Newbury last month but has failed to build on that in a couple of subsequent starts. Bartat and Crime Of Passion have both won nurseries but were beaten off today’s higher marks last time.
