Verdict

All step up in distance though none inspire confidence on recent form. AUTONOMY makes a belated seasonal debut having failed to threaten over much shorter trips last year. But he’s been gelded subsequently and looks a potential improver on his handicap debut representing Sir Mark Prescott’s yard. Myklachi had been threatening over middle-distances but found nothing at the business end at Thirsk on his latest start while Beaufort finished a bit closer at the latter track recently and slides further down the weights. Tabou Beach Boy may prove best of the rest in a weak contest.
