      Verdict

      John Gosden introduces CAPE PALACE, a 300,000gns half-brother to an Italian 2000 Guineas winner and entered in the Dewhurst Stakes. He may well prove good enough at the first time of asking and is preferred to fellow newcomer Ambassador. Those with racing experience have yet to threaten though King Carney finished ahead of America First at Haydock recently and Philosophical may prove best of the rest.
