Verdict

Cecil Corbett won this a year ago and is just 2lb higher though hasn't had much racing subsequently. His stable companion GOODTHYNEMILAN has been in excellent form all year winning four times split between hurdles and fences. He ran his best race to date when just beaten in a very strong Punchestown handicap chase in April and Davy Russell can steer him to another success. Dorkas, who is also engaged to run here on Sunday, showed her liking for this track and trip and good going when battling to victory last month and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Fenlon's Hill has gone up 8lb for a clear-cut victory at Down Royal where he was always travelling well and he's another to consider in a tight handicap.
