Aqueliga has changed stables after narrow defeats at Down Royal and Cork early last summer. AMERICAN LADY started out here last April and ran in Listed and Group company during the summer, three times finishing a close fourth. Healy's Double had some fair form for Vicky Haigh in France and was well supported for a 6f Curragh maiden in August but was headed in the final strides. Bombshell stayed on nicely over the track and trip in December though loooked as though another furlong wouldn't go amiss while Briseuse De Coeur ran better than her 33/1 odds would have suggested over 6f last month.
