Verdict

Harbanaker was staying on over a mile last week so this could prove too short. Joseph O'Brien had four last-time winners engaged at the early stage and relies on CROSSFIREHURRICANE, a winner over this trip at Limerick in June. He's in the Irish Guineas and Derby and though his pedigree suggests he'll be even better on Turf he can remain unbeaten before going on to better things. Orchid Gardens attracted support on her debut three weeks ago and wasn't beaten far despite not quite having the run of the race so she's an obvious threat. Lansing caught the eye over the track and trip a fortnight ago and can get competitive.
