In depth

Verdict

DAHINDAR is a great advertisement for the skills of Padraig Beggy and the six-year-old made a superb return to action to gain his fourth track success last week. He's been raised 3lb for that effort but he can still take care of fourth-placed Toraidhe despite the latter being better suited by today's extra furlong. Barrow Island looks a big threat as he reappeared to score comfortably over the C&D last month and his two lengths defeat by Unaccompanied at Galway in July now looks very useful form. Macnas will probably set the pace as she did when just caught by Bubbly Bellini last month and it would be no shock if she were to hang on this time. Mountain Coral always runs well here and though better known as a 7f performer he's been staying on well at the finish.
