      Verdict

Fashaar had shown virtually nothing before getting up close home in a handicap over a mile here in December. He's only up 3lb though this could prove on the short side. PARI PASSU also stepped up to a mile to gain his first success a week ago but had been running well over this trip earlier and won with a bit in hand. He's up 7lb but carried 2lb more than he should have done and can claim a quick double. Bien Chase scored over the course and distance in August and has continued to run well from a 7lb higher mark so should get into the action. The lightly-raced Storm Ryker made a successful debut over a mile here in May and was returning from a break when catching the eye in the race won by Jon Ess last week. He looks a real threat while Arbourfield can never be discounted on his favourite track despite a moderate run three weeks ago.
