Fog Of War ended his first campaign last June with a victory over 1m4f at Tipperary. He reappeared over that trip at Leopardstown but found heavy conditions against him and should make a bold bid to get back to winning ways. Venezia had been performing in strong company in the UK before joining Mick Halford where he scored over the track and trip in October. He hasn't run since but would be a big threat if ready. Defining Year has only won once here - beating three rivals over 1m4f last February. He hasn't done much since but a return to that sort of form would put him in the picture. LEAF (NAP) looked a nice prospect when landing a Gowran maiden on fast ground in July and ran in much better company on her next two starts. She looks capable of doing well this season and is taken to defy her long absence.
