Bright Eyed looked a certain future winner when narrowly beaten on heavy ground at Listowel but then flopped in similar conditions at Gowran. She made her debut on this track over a mile with a good run behind Ciao a couple of weeks ago when Cj Cregg was behind, Watchman a further two lengths in arrears and the winner's stable companion, Prize Winner, another length behind that one. Denis Hogan also has Machiavelli and With A Start entered here and both look nice acquisitions, the former from Johnny Murtagh and the latter from William Haggas. BLACK NOAH has shown plenty of potential over the trip and had a run over hurdles in November. Last month's second to Marine One here, with Ciao and Cj Cregg behind, gives him a fine chance of getting off the mark. Mokhles showed a bit of potential on Polytrack for Godolphin while Chess Grand Master won a Sligo bumper in 2017.
