In depth

Verdict

Poetic Choice gained her first victory since 2014 when scoring over a mile a fortnight ago. She was receiving 3lb from third-placed ISHEBAYORGREY, who will be 5lb better off and is much better suited by this shorter trip as he showed with a battling victory on his previous start. Tribal Path also looks held while Burren View Lady is better known as a sprinter though she did win this last year. Great Wide Open is best on soft ground and is one to keep an eye on for the forthcoming Turf meetings. Mr Right is improving at a rate of knots and the form of last month's victory over 6f is working out well. A 5lb rise appears unlikely to prevent another big effort and he looks the main threat.
