In depth

Verdict

BRAVE DISPLAY has won three times here and has been running well enough on Turf in recent weeks to get back to winning ways, especially as he's dropped in the ratings since his last victories. Lapilli won three times for William Haggas last year but has changed hands several times in Ireland. He ran easily his best race when runner-up to the in-form Dash D'Or here earlier this month and a repeat would see him go close. Hatton Cross finished last at Gowran last month and may find this on the short side while Downtown Diva has never won in 28 starts. Ancient Astronaut has run poorly on Turf the last twice after scoring at Wolverhampton.
