In depth

Verdict

Course regular Sharjah won over course and distance a fortnight ago when Carried was fourth but is upped 3lb. Commander Won is 5lb higher than when scoring here in December but an apprentice’s allowance helps on that score while California Lad landed a double over 1m2f here at the start of the year, though looks in the handicapper's grip now. UNCLE HENRY beat Duke Of Waspington when winning a maiden race over track and trip earlier this year and Joseph O’Brien’s charge gets another chance today dropping back down in distance having placed over 2m on his latest start.
