In depth

Verdict

High Street Lady was still beaten a long way when runner-up here though finished in front of Always In Step. Easkey Lad failed to threaten the winner when third over a mile at this venue and Drapers Guild also steps up in distance on his return to action. But this shouldn’t take much winning so the newcomer CHATEAU LA FLEUR may be good enough on her debut given Dermot Weld’s filly is related to a couple of Group 3 winners and she gets the nod.
