Bishan Bedi has been brought with a late run to snatch the spoils close home on his last two starts, the latest over 7f, and the assessor hasn't overreacted. He looks certain to be there at the finish again though a small field may not play to his strengths. Rummaging has finished a long way behind on both those starts while Ringside Humour has been racing over further and was only just beaten over 1m4f in November. He'll need a strong gallop and Kevin Manning may well try and force the pace. Hat Alnasar hasn't finished out of the first three in his last seven starts and gained his third course victory on the track a fortnight ago for which a 3lb rise doesn't look excessive. The last time BROSNAN ran over this trip he was beaten three lengths by Hat Alnasar when conceding 2lb. He's 14lb better off with his rider's claim and is a tentative selection in a tight handicap. Ciao Cielo is having his first run for new connections having won twice on the all-weather for David Barron.
