In depth

FITYAAN showed enough in his first campaign to be sent off a short-priced favourite on his return in a Warwick maiden over this trip and obliged with the minimum of fuss. He can progress further and take this as he isn't harshly treated on his handicap debut. Robert The Painter was well supported on his return in a Chester handicap but got no sort of run and can do better over the extra furlong. Reposer wasn't particularly fancied on his return at Haydock but ran better than expected behind Chosen Character and will have come on for the outing while Hugely Exciting deserved to get off the mark at Lingfield after a couple of fine earlier efforts. City Legend didn't enjoy being dropped back to 6f at Leicester and is better judged on his earlier second to Common Touch at York while Cloud Rock probably has more to give and his only start over this trip resulted in a victory.
