Ashpan Sam started favourite when winning this last year beating the 2011 winner Swiss Cross. Ryan Moore was on board on that occasion but partners Pearl Blue this time round and the latter won a couple of plating races earlier this year. SECRETINTHEPARK finished well ahead of Ashpan Sam when fifth in this grade at Goodwood last month and Robert Cowell's charge may be up to bringing his long losing run to an end in an uninspiring contest. Major Crispies, Crew Cut and Hopes N Dreams have all won Class 4 sprints this year while Smidgen has been winning even lower grade races on the all-weather. But Iseemist ran well in last season's Ayr Bronze Cup and may well figure racing off a lower mark today.
