Verdict
Encanto looks the one to beat here with and Lady la Quesne possibly the ones to beat. Looking at the field. Asteem is surely better than his Windsor unplaced effort and Mauro was fourth in a decent maiden at Windsor last time and, with the winner having gone on to finish second in the Cherry Hinton Stakes, he must hold a good chance tonight. Guinea A Minute was two-and-a-half lengths behind Lady Le Quesne when they met at Newbury on their debuts, and the latter has since gone on to be just touched, again at Newbury last time out. Both of these can go well but the best of the form on offer is Encanto's short head second to Kestrel Cross in the Goffs Challenge at The Curragh. With the sixth from that race having won since, the form looks decent and, as such, she gets the vote.
