        Verdict

        A fairly competitive sprint can go to Jayanjay, but Kingscross, Compton Banker, Kingscross and Lord Of The East are among those that have to be considered as alternatives. Kingscross, Jayanjay and Lord Of The East are all course and distance winners with the first-two named now being close to marks they have won from. As such, they have to be considered here. Glencoe Solas continues to run well despite being six pounds higher than a winning mark but, overall, looks worth opposing. Quantum Leap remains competitive from his current mark and ran well here last time. Compton Banker holds Jayanjay on six-furlong all-weather Lingfield form and has been running respectably on Turf recently, but Firework has more to do than when scoring in a claimer last time. The others look to have a bit to do so this spins us back to the selection, which is just Jayanjay.
