Verdict
There was plenty to like about the way Cusoon went about the task when he bolted up at Windsor ten days ago and he is fancied to shrug aside his 6lb penalty in this company. Alabama Twist landed his maiden in good style at Catterick last month and is respected with his claims. The fitting of a visor for the first time does sound a few alarm bells, though. Nan Jan was in good form on the All weather when he was last seen out. Still he has a long absence to overcome and may be best watched on this occasion. Easy Feeling was highly tried at the start of this season but has a fair chance now that the sights have been lowered for her. She has a handicap in her somewhere along the line and the market will tell us whether connections think this is the day for her. However, there is no such guesswork needed where Cusoon is concerned. The son of Dansili was given a peach of a ride by Ryan Moore on his latest start and will be very hard to beat if similar positive tactics are employed again.
