    Verdict

A moderate contest to end the evening at Epsom and not many of these can be seriously fancied to lose their maiden tag. It may pay to stick with the in-form stable of Willie Muir, who saddles Poppyline. The filly has shown she has a little race in her and her effort behind Tropical Coral, who was completing a hat-trick that day at Leicester, is comparable to anything her rivals have shown. She runs off the same mark here and at least comes into this in decent form having given odds on punters a shock when making High Action pull out all the stops to beat her at Brighton. The winner has a B.H.B rating of 86, and although she may be flattered by that mark it was still a solid effort with the third, who has a rating of 62, seven lengths away. Princess Speedfit stuck to her task well enough at Nottingham last weekend, and is reunited with Fallon who was aboard when filling the runner-up spot prior to that effort at Hamilton. Sailing Through has more ability than he cares to show, but even he can't be left out at this level. However, if Poppyline is to get her head in front then she won't wind an easier contest than this.
