Lang Shining has won on both visits to the track and it'd be little surprise were Jamie Osborne's charge to add to that tally with regular pilot Sophie Doyle on board. However, with a rating of 85 he's got 5lbs to find at these weights with COBO BAY. Conor Dore's gelding ran well enough in a competitive Kempton handicap when last seen but a return to turf and this grade should make him hard to beat. When last racing under similar conditions he romped to a nine-length success at Carlisle and his tendency to front-run is a bonus in this small field, so as long as the ground doesn't get too fast we'd be confident. Orchard Supreme is weighted to finish upsides Lang Shining and can't be ruled out with conditions to his liking while Visions Of Johanna would be of more interest on quick ground at a more conventional track and Pursestrings will be outclassed.
