Verdict
Kings Troop finds it hard to win so preference here is for the well-handicapped AURORA SKY ahead of Megalala and Super Duplex. John Akehurst's Hawk Wing filly shaped with more promise behind Resentful Angel at Kempton earlier in the month and the booking of Kieren Fallon today takes the eye. Whilst the filly is yet to win in 13 starts she is now 11lb lower than her original handicap mark and on ground that suits she should run well. Megalala wins prizes for consistency and this place-potter's dream is respected, despite being 7lbs higher than when successful at Goodwood in June. Kings Troop will get the Ryan Moore treatment today and his second to Sgt Schultz at Newbury last time looks ok on the face of it, although that was the winner's first turf success in 28 turf starts and he has been well-held since. Super Duplex is respected on his four length-third to Goldtrek last time out and he is considered after that seemingly improved effort. Red Eddie is not discounted however the nod goes the way of Aurora Sky.
