Verdict

Debating Society had shown potential before heading for a handicap at Sandown where he started favourite but ran moderately. He's been dropped 3lb so should get closer but IF I WERE A BOY looks the one to be on. She made all for a very easy victory in an apprentice race at Windsor last week and it's no surprise to see her out again as she can race without a penalty before being reassessed. Miss Cap Estel had been running well before she deservedly lost her maiden tag over a mile at Ffos Las and has always looked as though a step-up in trip would suit. Looking On ran poorly at Newmarket last time but that wasn't his true form and he can do better while Welsh Nayber is consistent enough at a minor level and can snatch a place.
