    Verdict

A competitive conclusion to proceedings, with Pin Cushion, Thalia Grace and FLOUNCING all bidding to follow up wins last time out. Willie Haggas' filly was successful last time out at Thirsk from a favourable draw and connections may feel that given the manner of that success she needs turning out again under a penalty before shooting up the weights. Thalia Grace won on handicap debut against other fillies last time out and is open to plenty of further improvement, with this just being her fifth outing. She's got a ton of weight in hand at the weights too as steps up in grade. Pin Cushion is on an upward curve too, after being ponied to the start last time out rewarded backers and the tolerance shown by absolutely hacking up, albeit at a prohibitive price in an ordinary maiden. The market may give us some clues in the lucky last, but preference is for Flouncing.
