Verdict
Paul Nicholls can end the day with another winner, with AIRONAGEESTRING fancied to land this bumper, but don't rule out the likes of Shalamyiyr and Bolanderi. The selection's not raced since March, when second in a similar contest up the road at Wincanton, and there was enough promise then to show he's certainly got this sort of race within his scope. Shalamyiyr was a beaten favourite here on debut in a similar contest a couple of months ago, but showed plenty of promise then, and Phillip Hobbs knows the time of day when it comes to these races. Bolanderi steps up in trip from a decent debut when placed, and is likely to be supported too. A number have decent chances, and as ever in this type of race the market should be watched for any support, but we'll suggest that Aironageestring can land the money.
