    Verdict

Gumley Gale looks nicely weighted and can see off the challenge of Tosawi, with Just In Time, Lesdream and Crockadee others in with a shout. Gumley Gale's tendency to burst blood vessels has cost him in the past, but having been treated for the problem, he finally gained his first win in over two years here six days ago. Kevin Bishop's nine-year-old beat Tosawi by seven lengths that day, and although worse off to the same amount of pounds with his rival, can confirm the form over this longer trip. Just In Time is fairly useful but has topweight to overcome, and Crocadee, a decent chaser in his time, is not getting any younger and does not have as much scope as one or two of the others. A bigger danger then might be Lesdream who has won a couple of times on this track, and if staying the trip, can reach the frame at least. For the winner we return to Gumley Gale.
