Verdict
Course and distance winner Bright Approach will be all the rage here and looks to hold solid claims, with Dantie Boy looking best of the others. The six-time Hunter Chase winner confirmed his wellbeing with a very good success at Cheltenham last time, and the form of that contest rates as very good. Fair Wind is also a course and distance winner and, much as he won well at Towcester last time, this will be tougher. Conversely, Dantie Boy rates a big danger to the selection as the form of his recent Taunton second compares favourably with the selection's Cheltenham's success. Province and Storm Castle would hold chances if turning back the clock three years, but the others need to improve a good deal on what we know of them to win, with Ronan's Choice looking the best of them based on the best of his efforts. Once again, though, Bright Approach, whose overall form stands out, is our selection.
