In depth

Verdict

After showing progressive form in handicaps, TRUCKERS LODGE tackled a Grade 2 at Doncaster in January. He never looked like winning but stayed on late and this test won’t faze him with Lorcan Williams taking off 5lb. Lamanver Pippin tries a new trip but looks held by Walk In The Mill and North Star Oscar on Chepstow running so Secret Reprieve may be a bigger danger having come good at the same track on just his second start. Unwin Vc was third over course and distance on his penultimate outing but Buster Edwards is returning from an absence. Points winner Eclair Des Sablons may be best of the rest.
