Verdict

SPORTING JOHN was confidently ridden to land an above-average contest here last month on his debut under Rules. He should be capable of holding his own at a higher level if all goes to plan today. Guy was a bit disappointing at Market Rasen last time but should find a small race this winter. Starsky looked to be getting the hang of things at Huntingdon but Ffos Las third Le Cameleon may have a bit more scope. Frisco Bay is making his hurdling debut and is best watched.
