      Verdict

Diletia is hardly an original choice but it is impossible to get away from her in such a modest contest. She proved her ability to handle the going last week when handing out an eight length thumping to Canterbury Jack and further improvement is anticipated today for TEAMtalk's selection. Trainer, Robert Alner had a double on Monday and he must be confident of his chances here. Wayward Cove has shown nothing on the surface whilst Sodelk is plenty exposed. The Lyme Volunteer should come on for a recent spin at Fontwell and maybe the one for the forecast. It would be asking a lot for Abernant Lady to win this after such a long absence although the market should be watched for clues.
