Verdict

Litterale Ci made a bad mistake and was quickly pulled up on her chasing bow at Ffos Las but she’d travelled strongly to that point and could make amends here with a clear round. However, SOUTHFIELD STONE will know what's required and has won three times over hurdles, including a Grade 2 at Kempton in February. He has the build of a chaser so gets the nod as The Mighty Don endured a traumatic first run over the larger obstacles at Fontwell a year ago and will surely find this too short. Moonlighter may also find this on the sharp side but has been lightly raced so is preferred to Thistle Do Nicely.
