In depth
Verdict
Write It Down won at Warwick last month but this looks more competitive and he is 5lb higher. Triple Chief is a regular here and usually makes the frame, though doesn’t win very often. BROWN BEAR is also proving expensive to follow but he’s twice finished second at Fontwell since dropped to this mark and, with fitness guaranteed, gets one more chance. First Figaro wouldn’t need to improve much on a second at Market Rasen to go one better but Duhallow Lad needs the mud and King Calvin just hasn’t taken to fences.
