In depth

Verdict

Away For Slates has rattled up a hat-trick and is proving better over fences than hurdles but he will still be racing from 4lb out of the handicap. Cracking Destiny, who has won two of his last three, is also carrying more than his allotted weight in this higher grade. Dinos Benefit has won over fences but his latest win came over hurdles and Saintemilion would need to improve on his second at Hereford. DIABLE DE SIVOLA was only beaten a short-head in a higher grade at Warwick last time and can open his account today as he’s getting 5lb from Another Stowaway, though the latter’s win at Leicester in January has been franked.
