In depth

Verdict

ERICAS LAD (NAP) gradually warmed to his task here six days ago and won a shade cosily in the end. He was racing from out of the handicap so is effectively only 2lb higher now and should complete a quick double if putting in a clear round. The Mighty Ash was still beaten nine lengths when second at Fontwell but Western Morning has taken well to fences and looks a threat. Gentleman Moore was runner-up at Wincanton on his chasing bow but Babytaggle is extremely moderate on the evidence so far.
