Verdict

Dunvegan's close second to Rapid Escape at Down Royal was a cracking effort given the winner's subsequent form though he didn't do as well on heavy going at Punchestown when beaten 13l into second. FULLASTHESEA went for £85,000 at the sales after winning a point at Moira by 20l. It could be money well spent and he can make a successful start under Rules though Willie Mullins' newcomer Clinton Hill is also likely to attract good support. Bugsy Siegel is related to a couple of winners
