In depth

Verdict

Chester winner GIFT IN TIME has been gelded since his latest run and though he didn't run well on his only all-weather start at Chelmsford he should have enough quality to see off these rivals. Axe Cap showed progressive form when beaten just a length at Wolverhampton and started favourite there next time but pulled much too hard and found no extra. She looks the main threat as Watching Spirits looked as though he needed further when staying on over 6f at Chelmsford. The remaining trio have little to recommend them.
