        Verdict

        HAKAM is a first-timer around here but he won a higher grade handicap at Kempton in April from just 2lb lower so could be the one to be on in a tight handicap. Hammer Gun won a similar class handicap over the course and distance last month, when he had the staying-on Custard The Dragon just behind and there's nothing between the pair on that form. Holiday Magic won this last year when completing a hat-trick and though he hasn't been running well his stable has struck form so it would be no shock to see him score again. Pearl Spectre didn't run well at Lingfield on Saturday and has nothing in hand of Florencio on their run here in October when the latter came out best.
