Barney Stinson started odds-on when runner-up over the minimum at Gowran where he made too many mistakes. He should be suited by the longer trip and is an obvious contender. Champagne Sparkles couldn't get close enough to the odds-on Lifetime Ambition over 2m3f at Limerick but stayed on and should get into contention. Harvey's Quay made a very encouraging debut over the latter track and trip and is certain to have come on for the run while Kavanaghs Cross will have found 2m too short at Navan but stayed on strongly. NOW WHERE OR WHEN stepped up to this trip for the first time on the latter track and made a bold bid to lead all, only headed on the run-in, and today's quicker ground can see him get off the mark.
