Verdict

Batts Rock, three times a winner on the level, has been disappointing over timber and ran poorly here last time but his earlier form puts him in the picture and he's been given a break. Calicojack hasn't made the expected progress and was beaten 17 lengths into second last time but Galilean made great strides when runner-up at Punchestown where the winner was receiving 15lb. Joseph O'Brien's charge should make the frame though MR EVEREST is an obvious choice having followed two placed efforts over timber last summer with victories on the Flat at Listowel and in the lucrative November Handicap at Naas.
