Verdict
SWAFFHAM BULBECK was returning from a lengthy absence on the all-weather in November but ran a lot better than the final result suggests. He was second twice over hurdles last season and this looks a good opportunity to get off the mark. Starjac has been placed in all three starts this campaign and will be hard to keep out of the frame again while Kings Inn found only one too good in a Doncaster handicap last time. Havana Hermano might be improving and Regarding Ruth should do better now going hurdling but Queen Adelaide folded tamely at Doncaster on Saturday. The selection’s stablemate Some Boy Mccoy looks the pick of the remainder.
