Verdict
This is a good novice chase for the track with the promising Granite Steps hoping to atone for his early departure at Wetherby. While he has the size to do well at this game, he faces a couple of above average rivals in Forest Gunner and Kemal's Council. The former, an impressive winner here last month, will be more at home over this trip and is sure to give a good account. However, the TEAMtalk vote goes to Kemal's Council, who was a wide margin winner on his chasing debut. He looks to have plenty of improvement in him and can take this en route to better things.
