Verdict
Lorient Express unseated rider at Ludlow last time when in contention and can make amends here, with Wild Power and Tarongo the likely dangers. The Venetia Williams trained five-year-old was going very easily when failing at the sixth, he isn't the most proficient of jumpers, but if he can avoid any errors today he should be good enough to win this moderate event. Wild Power finished third in that Ludlow event won by Colliers Hill and should again be capable of reaching the frame. Tarongo was given a Stratford race on a plate last month as his three rivals, including our selection, jumped badly throughout. He is not one to relish a fight, but could still be capable of making the frame. Apadi and Droumleigh Lad are two others worthy of respect in this company, but we will side with Lorient Express.
