Verdict

FULL OV BEANS has won his last five completed starts on this sharp track and handled the step up to this grade well enough last time when scoring by 13 lengths. He's been raised 8lb for that and tries 3m for the first time over fences today but did win over an extended 2m6f at Stratford in October so should last home. He's been in such good form this winter that he's difficult to oppose. The danger may be the hat-trick seeking Shinooki as he also likes it here. He carries a 7lb penalty for his latest easy victory over track and trip but will be going up more from next week. Alanjou is tried in blinkers but looks a few pounds too high now and Frontier Spirit is still 4lb higher than when winning at Ffos Las in the autumn. That's The Deal has to race from 8lb out of the handicap.
