Verdict

Blackstone Vegas has to figure prominently in calculations following an encouraging second at Uttoxeter from a 5lb lower mark but the form is not that strong and he could be worth opposing. Kinsya and Tae Kwon Do are unexposed and both are worth monitoring in the market for signs of market confidence as they go handicapping but of more interest is Tricky Tree who also moves into this sphere for the first time. Pam Sly's charge has contested races won by promising sorts such as Captain Chris and Lidar and looks realistically treated so it would be no surprise to see him go well but marginal preference is for CALAFICIAL who ended last season on a disappointing note but may be best caught fresh. He made a winning debut for this yard last September and shouldn't have finished winning yet.
