Verdict
This isn't a strong contest and selling winner Alston Wonder Man looks to have too much on under his penalty even at this lowly level, so this looks the ideal opening for Jawwala to finally get her head in front. John Jenkins's filly has shown enough to suggest a little race can come her way and proved her effectiveness here when runner-up to Avitta back in January, on ground which would have been plenty soft enough for her. Not disgraced in her most recent efforts behind the likes of Mr Ed and Balladeer, she will find this much easier and can provide Richard Johnson with another winner in his quest for the championship. San Marco achieved little in finishing third at Uttoxeter and will have to find more to take a hand here, while winning pointer Court Leney will surely find things happening too quickly for him over this trip. Macreater, out of a staying chaser, has shown little to date, but she is open to improvement and is one to keep an eye on in the market, along with New Perk, but Jawwala sets the standard and is taken to make the most of this easier task.
