In depth

Verdict

Weststreet is a solid sort at this level but was extremely fortunate the last day at Southwell when the seemingly certain winner unseated when clear on the run-in. Oliver Sherwood's charge may find the concession of 7lb to GIRLY GIRL (NAP) a bridge too far as the Skelton mare displayed pleasing battling skills to oblige on her hurdling debut before being outclassed in a Listed contest at Taunton on dreadful ground won by the Willie Mullins Cheltenham-bound mare Myska. This rates a far easier assignment. Road To Freedom, Minella Daddy and Vaillant Creek all have some ability but lack the scope of the selection.
