Verdict

Style And Panache probably sets the standard in this girls only maiden but with her odds likely to be prohibitive it might be worth taking a chance on LADY EXCELLENTIA, as she won't have to find much to win, while Indian Narjes looks the best of the newcomers. So far we've seen two improved efforts from the selection so there's no reason to assume she won't improve again. This jockey and trainer partnership have had some success already this season and with the conditions offering no worries she might be worth the risk. Style And Panache has done very little wrong in a trio of runs and her yard have been very much in form. If we could level a criticism at her it is that she has held her form without improving but a similar run to her last might be enough. Indian Narjes wasn't that expensive despite having some useful relations but she'll probably want a bigger test of stamina to really come into her own. Veil Of Night again has a fair enough bloodline but will probably want at least a mile while Molly Piccles should be a sprinter and can go well on debut. A tricky start and at the forecast odds we opt for Lady Excellentia.
