    Verdict

We kick off with a novice hurdle and this looks a good opportunity for the MAGIC BISHOP to get off the mark ahead of Kosta Brava and Kris Kin Line. Malcolm Jefferson's charge left his bumper form well behind to finish a good second on his hurdles debut. He travelled nicely and jumped well for a horse that was having his first run over sticks and there should be more to come from the son of Bishop Of Cashel whose trainer does well at this track. Kosta Brava represents a powerful stable and must be respected. He had been applying his trade over fences but took a heavy fall on his last start and today's race seems to be a confidence booster. His form was not bad over fences so he has a chance. Kris Kin Line was disappointing on his latest start but must be considered on his form two runs back. Ideally he would like a step up in trip but if given a positive ride he could take catching. Others to mention are Too Tall from Tim Vaughan's yard that was half decent on the flat but we will return to Magic Bishop for the win.
