Verdict

The next race on the card is a novice chase and jumping will be at a premium with these stiff fences but hopefully NOTHINGBUTTHETRUTH can go in ahead of Lord Collingwood and Ragador. The selection seems to be getting the hang of the jumping game as his last victory shows. His jumping was much improved and he won quite easily in the end. Now that he has found the winning thread Tim Pitts son of Witness Box can go in again. Lord Collingwood is no world beater but in fairness to the horse he has always been consistent in this grade. He has been rated higher in the past and his recent good return to form means he may be well handicapped today. Andrew Tinkler takes the ride for his name sake and should be in the mix. Ragador is not the best of jumpers but is at the right yard to improve in that department and showed up in a better race at Market Rasen. Black Apache is from a yard still in great form so he must be monitored.
